"Unsigned Artists"

" With all the diversity and ever-evolving sounds that permeate Bloomington, Indiana, the college town home of Indiana University, one sound seems to reach through the masses stronger than the rest. The Swell stands out with its unique, fresh approach to rock & roll. With a unique style, a fresh blast of energy on stage, and first-rate musicianship and songwriting-skills, there is nothing holding them back. Th Swell, without a doubt, has a quality product." - Brian Ossip, Required Listening.com

"Swell Up (Bloomington band, The Swell, celebrates the release or 'Love Grenade' Saturday)"

" To call this bands ascent towards the top of the local college-rock scene quick would be an understatement. The Swell has expanded its audience base, headlining the Bluebird on a regular basis, even on weekend nights, as well as forays to neighboring states for shows. The group debut CD, Love Grenade, drops Saturday, and it is full of well played, agreeably soulful groove-rock that has placed The Swell in good position within the original-music contenders in the crowded Bloomington bar scene." - Dave Coonce, Herald Times

"Movin' On Up"

"In 12 months they've progressed from a novel idea to become one of the most visible and, like them or not, most talked-about original bands in Bloomington. - Nate Bethea, Indiana Daily Student
