There are actually proper recorded works that exist which we intend on releasing as cassette singles starting late spring. Expect a 10'' vinyl in the not-to-distant future.

Bio
Before the band itself existed there was The Switching Yard. For the members of this group, being in this band is more an extension of their way of life rather than coming together to form a particular sound or achieve a certain goal. Their sound is one that is created organically through jams, free from any band hierarchy or control from any one person. Contrived they are not. They stem from influences ranging from the finest herbs and various hobbit leaf, Bonanza, skateboarding, western movies, spy films (they are secret agents in Project Mersh) and bands such as Hawkwind, Spacemen 3, Sonic Youth, Complete, Atomic Rooster, Budgie, The Oblivians, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Roxy Music, Jethro Tull, Dead Kennedys, 13th Floor Elevators, Motorhead, The Sonics, The Ramones and countless others including but not limited too the genres of bluegrass, thrash and black metal and old time blues. The importance and influence of the local scene can not be understated. Through local bands and CFCR 90.5 Community Radio they have been given opportunities to bring their sound to the masses and they try not to disappoint. The Switching Yard is a REAL rock and roll band. Enough said.
