Bio
The Tate was formed in 2010 Based in Saint Petersburg Russia. Initially a live act, they refined their sound in front of an audience gaining a local following. In 2010 The Band initially wrote and recorded 3 singles, ‘”I can’t Believe”, “Let me Out” and “Stay Away UFO” which are characterised by quality musicianship and professional production.
April 2010 The Tate appeared on Radio Roks in anticipation of the concert with Punk TV. They played a series of live acoustic songs including a Bob Dylan cover. It was at the end of 2010 that the Tate supported Black Rebel Motorcycle whilst in Russia.
During 2011 The Tate made a series of solo concerts in STP and Moscow and have gone back in to the studio. They released a new single “Hole” at the end of last year that was premiered on the British radio station BHCR which has helped to create a British listening audience and fan base.
Currently in the studio The Tate are creating new material ready for an upcoming tour in March in Russia and surrounding countries.
