"We Doubt They're Teenagers"

"It's no surprise that a band with songs such as "Summer" and "Dream Girl" strives to emulate the Beach Boys. And it's no surprise that this pop band calls itself The Teenage Symphonies. (Brian Wilson, after all, called his album "Smile" a "teenage symphony to God.") Tonight, you can catch the Boston-based Teenage Symphonies at T.T. the Bear's." - The Boston Globe

"Heavy Rotation Records presents sneak preview of upcoming release!!!"

Wed, Jul. 5 2006
Heavy Rotation Records is proud to present The Teenage Symphonies and Kidnapkin performing with Dorm Sessions 3 artist Charlie Worsham at the Berklee Pavilion on Wednesday, July 26 4-6 PM. The Teenage Symphonies have been accurately described as "Colorful and Melodic. Edgy and Guitar Driven. Sophisticated pop perfection". A tasteful blend of influences such as The Beatles and The Beach Boys that puts a smile on your face and make you feel glad that "Summer has arrived." Kidnapkin, along with their "mad scientist" approach to rock music, made it to the Emergenza Regional Finals held at the Avalon Ballroom on July 1st. An in-your-face and energetic trio, Kidnapkin brings back the legacy that Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against The Machine and Nirvana left behind. As for Charlie Worsham, he's had a busy year. After performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC with his band: The Free State of Tallahatchie, he was featured in XM Satellite Radio's "X Country" Station and is currently working on his new CD to be released in August. Catch these killer Heavy Rotation Artists at the Berklee Pavilion on July 26, 4-6 PM. See you all there!!! - Heavy Rotation (Berklee)

Bio

"Colorful and Melodic. Edgy and Guitar Driven. Sophisticated pop perfection."

These are the words that describe the sound of THE TEENAGE SYMPHONIES.

And you can hear it for yourself.

Blending hook-filled melodies and shimmering harmonies with heartfelt lyrics, creative arrangments, and modern production, THE TEENAGE SYMPHONIES are the emphatic answer to the artistic deterioration of today's pop music.
