What started as a band reunion in early 2009 turned out to be the beginning of The Telling Tree.
Providence, RI Natives Henry Mota, Art Silva, Jon Davies, and Peter Mota have played together in a number of bands for the last 10+ years, but this one is a keeper.
After 10 months of writing and collaboration and a full set of fresh new music we have finally started playing out!
So what's The Telling Tree all about?
Honest lyrics, Simple (but catchy) Melodies, driving rhythm and beats. Kind of a rock, jazz, blues, pop...with a little singer song-writer thrown in. (sorry no country) Basically we're a bunch of 30-something guys who want to keep on livin' the dream and never let music out of our lives.
