Bio
Born in a small loft room in Orrell Park, Liverpool in June 2008. We, The Temps formed with all members having different and at times contrasting tastes in music. After banding about for a few months, we took a break from November 2008 and returned in January 2009, taking away all the elements of a typical sounds-like-everyone-else band and adding dirty anger fuelled guitar, with fuzz bass, fast paced punky drums and angry, shouty frustation filled lyrics. We gathered momentum and quickly began to get a following and a decent reputation, eventually signing to Antipop Records in June. In the latter stages of 2009, we were a featured band on BBC Radio 6 and managed to get some good support slots (The Fall, The Chapman Family, Band of Skulls). Labelled 'The Best Band in Liverpool' by Band of Skulls, we intend to work hard, develop our sound further and push on to bigger things in 2010.
