Bio

THE KNOCKOUTS really is something rare - highly addictive songs that fuse rockabilly technique with the unstoppable force and heart of cocky punk rock, in a masterly way.

THE KNOCKOUTS - With faith in Punkrock since 1996. Johan Frandsen (lead vocals/guitar),Ted Jergelind (drums) and Ken Stone (upright bass) creates the missing link between the Stray cats and Green Day - incredible musicians, astonishing songwriting, good looks & extraordinary live performances!

During 2009 and 2010 THE KNOCKOUTS have played sold-out shows all around Europe and been on the bill with Social Distortion, The Living End among others. And their album AMONG THE VULTURES, an album packed with addictive hits, got FANTASTIC reviews all over Europe, and in the US as well.

The album spinns a lot on the radio and the song "Heat for the hunted" even got chosen as 3rd best song in 2009 at P3 Rock (swedish national radio).

The singer, guitarist & frontman Johan Frandsen, also played world famous rockabilly band The GO GETTERS. His guitar playing gave them an extra injection of energy in over 300 gigs world wide. Head lining the well known Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender, playing with members of the Stray Cats (Slim Jim), Guana Batz, Mad Sin, Sex Pistols, The Damned and more, are just a few things worth mentioning.

We´re very proud to announce a new sponsor - the legendary TV Jones (the man behind world famous TV Jones pickups, which you´ll find in many Gretsch guitars, for example).
Apart from Brian Setzer he´s been working with Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Chris Cheney (The Living End), John Fogerty, Reverend Horton Heat among others, for many years.
