Bio
The Tidals represent a great era of Jamaican music, the groups first recording "Jah Nyah" was recorded in the 1960s at the same time Bob Marley was recording his first singles "Judge Not" and "One Cup of Coffee" for Beverly's Records. The group has also captured the sounds and issues of those crucial eras in their music. The Tidals albums includes "Great Days" and their current album "Crucial Tidals", both albums make strong statements musically and highlight the skills of this visionary group. The group is conscious of the many challenges and the high level of competitiveness that prevails in the music industry, both at home and internationally. However the group's nostalgic approach in keeping the spotlight on the music of the unforgettable 60s, 70s and 80s is to provide they current hype driven generation with guidelines of what great music is all about. The Tidals, an outstanding group that has withstood the test of time and continues to deliver the hits of yesterday and today with sheer professionalism.
