Bio
The Tide are a four piece rock band based in London. Founding members Dean Sharp and Jamie Taylor have been writing and performing together for fifteen years and have played venues all over the UK. They won a Battle of the Bands competition in 2006 to play the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park London and made it down to the last five acts to support The Cranberries at Wembley Arena.
The Tide are influenced by acts as diverse as The Police, Guns N Roses, The Beatles, U2, MGMT, Neil Young, Coldplay and Oasis.
They have a catalogue of great songs, that ring true with unforgettable melodies and harmonies and searing musicianship.
The band keep themselves busy playing in a cover band on the UK circuit and feel they've paid their dues enough to get a chance to grace the biggest stages.
