Singer-guitarist Tommy Kuzsel announces his debut album, Life is for Doing Things. True to his life-long values of living large, this album is a representation of Tommy himself. These songs represents periods of loss and the process of leaving bad times behind, finding your own strength and realizing there is an even brighter light for the future. "My music is one of the biggest things about who I am," says Tommy. "The album title reflects my lifestyle and my attitudes growing up on the West Coast."
With a desire to tell the stories in a new way, Tommy sings with heart and soul to refresh some great songs, adding his acoustic guitar and harmonica. To take the music to the next level for the album, he assembled an outstanding team of support musicians into the Tommy Kae Band. Fito Garcia, Juno Award Winner, adds a sense of soul, rhythm and melody performed on his six string bass. Drummer Mike Berman, a Montreal native, has been part of many live and recording projects such as Jim Clench of April Wine and BTO and great acts like Vancouver’s Al Foreman Band.
Saffron Henderson, one of this country's finest singers, adds a sweet element with her back up vocals. Mike Norman, another one of this country’s finest musicians, adds piano, Hammond organ, and saxophone.
Life is for Doing Things brings modern interpretations and new life to classic songs.

Bio
Tommy’s passion for music started at an early age. Playing guitar and singing has always been part of his life. Believing in getting what you want from life, entertaining friends and family over the years soon led him to larger and larger events.
Now, from hobby to profession, Tommy’s music career has grown from hosting notable jam sessions around town to performing annually at the BC Children’s Hospital Fundraiser, the Giovanni Bastone Foundation, and other events.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Tommy’s album title – Life is for Doing Things – attests to the West Coast attitude inherent in his character. His modern interpretation has brought new life to some great songs.
Known for his ability to ‘lively up’ a crowd, through music or just his energetic charismatic presence, Tommy promises an entertaining performance.
