The Toms

The Toms

BandRock

Melodic heart torn rock 'n roll with a splash of in-your-face pop punk.

Biography

Dissenting from the limitations of the gender binary, armed with socially conscious and political mind frames, The Toms are hitting the stage with a musical style just as ambiguous as they are.

Pleasing die hard fans and newcomers alike, a Toms show will bring you through an emotional rollercoaster full of laughter and heartache and leave you pleading for more. With a foundation built upon each Tom’s individual style and influences, their convergence provokes the construction of melodic, heart torn rock n' roll with a splash of in-your-face pop punk, all beautifully topped off by intelligently razor-sharp lyrics. Drawing from raw emotion and real life circumstance, The Toms play from the gut, triggering anyone within earshot to listen hard.

The Toms have had one busy year, perfecting their sound and stage performance at premier Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago music venues such as Linneman’s Riverwest Inn, The Cactus Club, Circle A, The Annex, The King Club, and The Elbo Room.

The Toms debut album, Pink Tie Affair, released June 3rd 2006 with much anticipation from local and national fans who had been begging to get their hands on the tunes since day one.

Often touted by concert goers as "My new favorite local band", The Toms are one rocking foursome to lookout for on the independent music scene. Inviting us to discover and embrace our own uniqueness, while fostering the solidarity that unites us all, you too will be saying "I Rock The Toms!"
