The Toronto All-Star Big Band

One of the most exciting bands around, the 17-piece Toronto All-Star Big Band is a perfect tribute to the swinging’ sounds of the 30s and 40s. Playing the hits of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, the Dorsey brothers, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and more, the band combines timeless music with first-class musicianship for a dynamic big-band show. Backing up the band are the TABB 5, a group of 2 male and 3 female singers, bringing back the sounds of such groups as The Modernaires, the Pied Pipers, Bing Crosby & the Andrews Sisters, and Manhattan Transfer. But that’s not the best part – the group is comprised of young musicians aged 16-22.
