"The Town and the City's EP"

The Town and the City's first release Now or Whatever Seems More Like the Past EP is a throwback to baroque folk stylings with a fresh voice. It rivals other Midwest acts like Bright Eyes and Wilco for immediacy and poetic vision. The Afterlife Recordings has found a gem within their small roster and the album is definitely worth listening. Much anticipation will be given to their upcoming full-length. - Schizonism Zine
