Hailing from a southern california scene that boasts hundreds of great bands The Transit War is setting a whole new standard for indie/rock. (Vocalist/guitarist) Jim Hughes has torn the pages of his diary to tell the stories that have shaped his life with each heartfelt word belted out with sincerity. Accompanied by (bassist) Mike Frey, (guitarist) Anthony Levas and (drummer) Bernie Tiano, The Transit War are quick to take influence from all forms of music ranging from youth crew hardcore to folk.
