Bio
Birmingham based band, The Traps were born on 1st January 2008. After a prolific year in which the band sent hundreds of free mp3s out to fans who messaged them on their myspace, The Traps wanted to take their philanthropic tendencies a step forward.
And so, the ‘Luna EP’ represents the first new material of 2009 from The Traps. ‘Luna’ was written and recorded at the band’s home in February 2009. Under the watchful eye of lead guitarist and producer (chief knob twiddler) James Minhas, these fruitful home recordings grew legs and a plan was hatched for a free release to launch their label Speech Fewapy Records.
The idea behind the release is that it is totally free for anyone to obtain. Simply click the official ‘Luna’ website to download all four tracks, a video for ‘Run You Down’ and the ‘Luna’ EP artwork for free.
