The Trickle Down

The Trickle Down

 Portland, Maine, USA
BandJazzJam

An original blend of jazz, funk, reggae, and progressive rock, with just enough jam to seal it all together. The Trickle Down strives for intensity and spontaniety at every show.

Biography

The Trickle Down formed in Portland Maine in late 2009, an original blend of live and improvisational rock. The music itself thrives on intensity and diversity, from pseudo-philosophical pop anthems, to linear composed instrumentals harkening to bands like King Crimson and Yes, to funk and reggae grooves suitable for all types of moving and shaking. The Trickle Down is a fledgling band, independently owned and operated, built in the USA, and holding on to the naive hope that the music will show the way. The Trickle Down just recently finished a self-produced demo available for free download at thetrickledown.com. Check it out, and let your ears do the work!

Discography

The Trickle Down's first self-produced singles, "The Nines", "Seams", and "Brains Don't Pay" are available for stream or download at thetrickledown.com and myspace.com/thetrickledown.
