This is a band that has managed to make a name for itself at a very early stage.
It all began in the Fall of 2005 by coincidence when two of the most popular bands from LA's Spanish Rock scene were going through some changes (Chencha Berrinches & Viva Malpache!) it was then that members of both bands decided to work together.
Christian Vampiro Merlin (vocalist), Rodger Trapo Alonzo (bass/guitar) from Chencha Berrinches, Arturo R2D2 Hernandez (keyboards) from Viva Malpache! along with two young talented musicians, Cesar Perez, (guitar) and Julio Gomez, (drums) got together to form the Ska/Punk/Rock band The Triggers
The individual styles and experience of each member vary from playing with Maldita Vecindad, Fabulosos Cadillacs, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Sekta Core, H.R. of Bad Brains, El Gran Silencio, Die Toten Hosen of Germany, just to name a few and are influenced by Ska/Punk/Rock/Reggae/Metal and traditional Mexican music.
