Bio
The Tristesse of Enola is a band with its roots based in the melancholic singer/ songwriter tradition combining it with pinches of rock, blues and country.
It's stories, life experiences and feelings where music has been added, and is always performed with a nerve and authenticity. The inspiration for the songs comes from the cracks between the floorboards of this life, and they are often about the choices we make, the choices we are applied and the impact of these consequences; good or bad. Sometimes you control life, but sometimes life controls you.
There’s a simple, raw and honest backbone breathing through The Tristesse of Enola, but there is also rooms for smiles to keep the balance intact.
There are a ton of bands trying to master the singer/songwriter, acoustic rock genre, but quite a few fail. The Tristesse of Enola stay true to their ideas hereby maintaining their very own identity, separating them a bit from the rest.
