Bio

The Tumblers - “Bursting with energy and personality, their raw rock edge and distinct vocals showed promise that in time and work, they can be something special.” – Gignition, Drum Media Magazine.

The Tumblers are a four piece, alternative rock band with a live show that captures such pure energy and enthusiasm reminiscent to an early Zeppelin, and a sound that has been described as The White Stripes dancing with Oasis.

The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Tim Gordon, who switches between the distinct rock vocals reminiscent of Jack white, to the calming yet intense melodies reminiscent to James Mercer. Lead guitarist Lee Napper, who merges an exploding fuzz sound with effects influenced by psychedelic trends of the late 60’s. Bass Player Andrew Campbell keeps a warm melodic groove sound, which he switches into an intense lead buzz at any change of pace and drummer, Daniel Harrison, who keeps the band in check with his fast pace intensity and his explosion on the drum kit that keeps the attention of all who are listening.

At an average age of 18 years old, The Tumblers have spent the better part of 2009 getting their name known, gigging around all well known venues in Perth, including the Fly by Night musicians club, Mojos, Hyde Park hotel, Swan Basement and the Newport.

With 2009 gone, The Tumblers are planning for 2010 to be a big year with plans of an EP.

The Tumblers have been given a supporting slot in the upcoming Sugar Army ‘In Control’ tour along with Arts Martial.

With the rock revival happening all over the world, The Tumblers are making sure that nothing stops them from being a part of it, with hopes of getting as much attention as they can in 2010.
