Since
their formation in 2011, The Tumblin Dice are a diverse group,
borrowing from the genres of new and classic country with a bit of rock
influence, this band has gained them a huge following in the Victoria,
BC area, and rightfully so. These boys have developed their own brand of
country with a rock'n edge. Their live shows feature upbeat tempo and
full-throttle performances of both covers and originals, the band
suffers no identity crisis as their own original tunes provide the same
feel-good party experience as the songs they cover. It has been these
performances that have enabled the band to get musically and perfect
their signature vocal harmonies.They put on an energetic and
entertaining show leaving people wanting more!
With
the release of their debut EP back in the summer of 2013 is where they
debuted their first single and video for 'This Old House' an upbeat
rockin' country song.
The
Tumblin' Dice are widely known as the official house band for the
infamous 'Gone Country Live' events held at Upstairs Cabaret in Victoria
each month. It has been these performances that have enabled the band
to gel musically and perfect their signature vocal harmonies.
Repeatably drawing huge crowds to see their effusive live performances
has earned them a spot as the house band for Sunfest Music Festival 2013-14, the largest country music festival on Vancouver Island. This has given them opportunities to open for Aaron Pritchett , Brett Kissel. and Tim Hicks.
In
May of 2014 they were also able to showcase their talent in Toronto
during Canadian Music Week which gained them notoriety and new fans.
With
their music being heard across the border to the U.S. to their surprise
they were contacted by Thunderstruck Films in Montana that expressed
interest in to using 2 of the songs off the debut EP, This Old House,
and Whiskey on The Fire for their new film. Without hesitation they said agreed which could help The Tumblin' Dice gain more exposure.
