Lyrics

Fair Warning

Written By: Julian Muia and Daniel Konikoff

Water,
Well as it flows my hell gets hotter,
The fire grows but you still,
Put out my flames with gasoline,
Strike your match and dip the scene,
I burn with words I mean,

PRE CHORUS
You took my secret,
You put it in your pocket,
You said you'd keep it,
But you went ahead and lost it,
I took your secret,
I kept it bright and shiny,
Guess that's my weakness,
Somehow you always find me,

CHORUS
'Cause I told you months ago,
I gave you fair warning,
It's been some months you know,
Since that New York morning,
Blame it on the boys,
Blame it on the men,
'Cause I'm damn sure I'll never be here again,
There's so many times that a guy like me could be wrong,
That's why I'm moving on,

Everybody knows that it can't be wrong,
For a guy like me to have to sing this song,
Count my blessings I'm professing to the lesson,
Obsessing 'cause I'm already gone,
Oh everyone sees it but I can't believe it,
I'll just let it be,
Standing alone in a broken home,
With everybody else but me,
Oh,

Lights Go Out

Written By: Julian Muia and Daniel Konikoff

Wait you don't have to say you're sorry,
You just have to change your story,
Even as the lights go out somehow,
Say you don't have to reach conclusions,
Until you prove a new illusion,
Even as the lights go out somehow,

PRE CHORUS
She says that I can't get into it,
But she can't get down without her medicine,
You'll find her type in the parking lot,
Cigarette on her lips,
An afterthought,

CHORUS
Why you gotta play it down,
Ever since we left that broken town,
Why you gotta play it cool,
Now I'm just a broken fool,
As the fight broke out,
Slight amount,
We could see the here and the now,
That is when the lights go out somehow,

You never stopped to count the seconds,
But stopped to pick a brand new weapon,
I knew I should have never ever let this slide,
But let me tell you darling so,
You could frame a thousand pictures,
But never ever find your own true mister,
Even with the lights burnt out and fried,

Every Night

Written By: Julian Muia and Daniel Konikoff

CHORUS
Every night,
Well I often sit alone and watch the stars so bright,
And I call your home but you don't answer,
This ain't right not quite,
Tonight you are on my mind,
Had you here,
Well I often think about the times I held you near,
But I let you go and fall for someone else I fear,
Its clear,
Tonight you are on my mind,

Time can tell girl that you're timeless,
Words are maps I hope you find this,
Hear the music out of tune,
Hoping to reach you soon,
Now I got your picture it suffices,
I see clearly all my vices,
Hear the rhythm out of time,
A love song that just won't rhyme,

PRE CHORUS
Because who knows if this house of cards,
Will just tumble down and leave me scarred,
Who knows if this wall of sound,
Will run me straight into the ground,

CHORUS

POST CHORUS
Well I'm sorry that I crashed your party,
But I couldn't wait to say I'm sorry,
'Cause I've been thinking a lot about us,
Oh girl it scars me,

When I think to way back when,
All I recall is money spent,
Hear the rhythm out of time,
A love song that just won't rhyme,
