The Turnaround is five dudes from Oklahoma merging together with hopes of bringing back rock n' roll in it's dirty, original character. This new face to the music scene has an old-school sound that comes from their aggravated style of writing, which brings an energetic edge to the atmosphere during their live performance.
When they aren't delivering pizza's or working a mall jobs, The Turnaround jams through the late hours of every evening to create their aggressive attack at rock music. The mixture of voices captures an intellectual and angry emotion. Dirty guitars and hectic drumming brings a connection to those who listen and entertainment to those who watch.
Forming in December of 2009, The Turnaround is nearing the release of their debut, four-song EP, updown. The album was recorded and produced by Kevin Gates of Engaged Audio, who has recorded some of the top artist of today's new music. The album is an adventure of slower spacey jams to up tempo pissed-off rock that disappeared from today's music.
