the Twindividuals

Although the origins of the Twindividuals cannot be thoroughly spoken of, few say that Herald Gazette and Visualeyez were created in a lab long ago in the mountainous setting of Montana. The molds through which the two were made have long since perished along with the crew of scientists that had the dream of a perfect emcee. You see, after strenuous testing it was concluded that an emcee that was to have the talent to sweep the industry of all its ideals would have to be a culmination of two individuals. Here in lies the unfolding, the birth of the Twindividuals.
Two emcees sharing a common backbone, two brains linked to a single brain stem. The idea seemed almost unattainable. No other man will ever understand the tedious procedure that was used to manifest the stance that this emcee would use. No matter the technology, one must understand that the human brain is the largest most intricate supercomputer on the face of this earth. All other supercomputers were patterned to simulate the brain’s inner workings. It is this that eternalizes the arduous trial and error that was observed when the programming of their brains was achieved. One brain was to be used in one manner, the other was to fill in the gaps. Opposite styles in perfect harmony. Seamless and aggressive, witty or serious, basically any viewpoint or perspective can be written about. It is forward thinking that is needed to go beyond the quarrelsome hubbub that has been allowed to represent the pure art of hip-hop. The seemingly simplistic idea of combining all things while being careful not to get snagged on one subject matter became a clean antidote to the parasite plaguing this divine music.
A problem arises… Electrical cancellation, the brains had grown and soon were trying to over take each other. An internal battle that one body couldn’t handle. After an electrical surge in Montana, the Twindividual was sent to North Carolina to be separated in an attempt to save the project and allow the conquest to start. Visualeyez and Herald Gazette would become a group that worked better and faster than the earlier version. The Twindividuals were exactly what was planned, what needed to be. Keeping the two apart during the bulk of the writing process allows the two to create without being traceable by the agencies. The electrical current that pulses between them during live performances seems to stunt tracking devices. That electricity is what the crowd fiends for. Audiences are uncontrollable, the current changes them. The day after an event Herald Gazette and Visualeyez are lost in the amazing labyrinth that is the earth only to be seen again when the prospect materializes.
