Bio
The Ugly Kids began playing in 2009 due to a lack of authentic Rock n Roll in the artificail cesspool that is Los Angeles. Blending influences from powerpop and early rock n roll to punk and rockabilly to creat a truly unique and genuine sound that is pure rock n roll mayhem. Many have described their sound as Iggy the Stooges meets Sweet and The Briefs meet The Kinks. They have supported many bands on their west coast tours including Gentelmen Jesse and his men, The Barerracudas, The Booze, The Urinals, La Sera, Vivian Girls, The Babies, Tijuana Panters and many more.
