The Ultimate

The Ultimate is a rock band of tremendous musicality with scholarly retro references combined with freshly stylized performances. The Ultimate began when Tom Andreasen sold his soul to the devil for a Les Paul guitar. His pact demanded the recruitment of fresh souls. Tom sniffed out the sweet blood of Louis Spector’s rapturous bass and Jason Marcus’ howling voice, powerful enough to exorcize Tom’s demons and crooning enough to mellow the mightiest jungle cat. The beast was beginning to take form and reared onto its hind legs with the addition of drummer Jim Bertini, the backbone of The Ultimate. Ben Sherman completed the core, giving sight and direction to the unbridled vicious hunger of the animal. In order to offer some female resistance to an otherwise raw gale of male exuberance, The Ultimate is complimented with the angelic vocal stylings of Dana Marcus.
Influenced by all honest music, each member of The Ultimate brings a different perspective to the stage. The Ultimate has developed an impressively expansive original catalog since their inception. Seven of these unique songs appear on The Ultimate’s debut release, ‘Everyone is Secretly in Love.’ The shockwaves of this release are rippling slowly throughout the universe inspiring statements such as, “The world is a better place with this album as the soundtrack.” Conceived in love, The Ultimate strives to awaken the pure and innocent joy of the human soul.
