Bio

The Underberry's sound is the brainchild of Timothy Underberry. Ever since Underberry saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show he wanted to say the following sentence with a straightface: "So we went into the studio and emerged with quite a sound"! And now he and The Underberrys can, as they avail their debut album, "Ketty's Kitchen" a twelve song tall tale of old New York, authentic Scranton and present-day Boston. An exceptional array of established Cambridge and Boston-based artists, The Underberrys shine an inward light of generosity and introspection, character rich, with unusual normalcy. Theirs is a rich, cross-generational sound, ranging from Louis Armstrong to the Beatles to Broadway--yet intriguingly unique. Like the Boston skyline, their music includes both skyscrapers and brownstones, big and intimate songs, an aural onslaught of elemental surprise. Throw your fedora to the October wind and ignite your evening with The Underberrys as they uplift you and yours with their versatile verve and infectious way.
