Original. Unique. A breath of fresh air. This trio formed by singer and songwriter Sean T. combines blues, rock, soul, hip hop, spoken word, and good old time traditional music with a fresh sound. At first site you would never believe the voice you hear is coming out of the 26 year old singers mouth. Big, booming, evoking Ma Rainey and Tom Waits, with lyrics that touch upon the pulse of humanity through verse and storytelling. After playing around his native New York City, and one summer even travelling the states to play on street corners to get a feel of life outside the big city, he decided he wanted a band to take it to the next level: electric. So he called up fellow musician and friend Christopher Jaouen, a musical genius, to help him out on the road to rock n' roll history. Only formed less than a year ago, they have a residency at the Bowery Poetry Club for about four months working up their stage show and getting ready to record in September. The group is rounded out by new comer Dirk Kiprick, whose style will remind you at times of keith Moon and other like Brain of Primus.
It's a breath of fresh air followed by a sigh of relief: Rock n' Roll is not dead.
