"Press Review"

"The Vail is a fast rising band with tight and concise songs filled with heavy, memorable and melodic industrial tinged rock. Their songs stand above the fray on the radio, and their live show is not to be missed." - Jeff Cage : 100.3 The Edge

"Album Review"

"Collecting Pieces" tells a story of tension, pain, bitter feelings and distress. It induces the listener to reach their own personal catharsis. The militant guitar riffs, cerebral lyrics and haunting rhythms are forged into an alloy of hard rock and industrial metal. Together, they create a sound resembling a frayed live wire, crackling with energy and threatening personal contact. My advice is to grab that wire and go with the flow of charged music spewing from the stage. - Arkansas Rocks Entertainment

"Press Review"

"Being one of the best, if not the best undiscovered bands in the south, The Vail is a machine, a well oiled Industrial Hard Rock machine of perfection. Their work ethic can’t be matched and is a forced to be reckoned with. I tell everyone I know about this band, but won't have to for long. Soon people will be asking me if I’ve heard of The Vail." - Dylan Tippin : Dark From Day One

"ROCKY GRAY : ALBUM REVIEW"

I rarely ever listen to a cd all the way through without skipping around. Normally i begin to lose interest after 4 or 5 songs. This album is one of those rare albums where you want to hear what happens next. I listened to this record all the way through and immediately played it again. For me its a breath of fresh air with all the uncreative and lifeless music thats out in the world today. The Vail are catchy with a hint of "that sounds familiar". Bands dont really do this kind of music anymore and the ones that do are not pulling it off as well as The Vail in my opinion. For fans of 90's era industrial rock, you will not be disappointed.

Bio

THE VAIL is an Industrial Rock band from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Founding member, Devin Castle, began composing music for The Vail as a solo project in 2004. Because of other projects Devin didn't focus exclusively on The Vail until five years later, when he formed a band to fully launch the project. In late 2010, The Vail released their first EP (Collecting Pieces) on iTunes. The Band found themselves playing larger shows alongside bands such as Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Seether, Lacuna Coil, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Hell Yeah, Kill Hannah, Egypt Central, Future Leaders of the World, Allyria, Janus, and many more. In 2011, the band released the single "Drowning in the Sun" on iTunes, which was written shortly after the death of Devin's brother. In 2012, the band took a break to write the new album and released the single "Nightmares" on iTunes.
