Born of a love of rock and roll and a pure desire to move people with music, The Velcro Shoes are infectious, pounding and unabashed, the band you remember wanting to see.
Emerging from Pittsburgh, The Velcro Shoes in short order delivered a bevy of original music that promises to delight music lovers for the foreseeable future as the band works to release their fourth EP in the early part of 2017.
The Velcro Shoes are vocalist Eric Emerson, guitarist and keys Mike Slobodian, guitarist Bill Krowinski, drummer Garrett Bodgen.
Citing musical influences as diverse as Autolux, The Beatles, Joy Division, Foals & Artic Monkeys The Velcro Shoe are talented yet unfettered. Bands that put on great live shows are few and far between; seeing The Velcro Shoes live is about suddenly caring about where you’re at and the fact that you’re even there at all, before the pretense of hipsters and before jumping up and down was replaced by the head nod.
After a winter of live performances, The Velcro Shoes will be retreating to the studio to complete work on their much-awaited fourth EP, due out this spring.
