The Vibe Junkies are a high energy rock band with strong melodies, a rock solid rhythm section and spectacular live show.The Vibe junkies finished 2005 with a bang being voted the charlottelivemusic.com " Band of the Month" While their first mp3 single release "Sunshine and Daisies" held the #1 spot on the charlottelivemusic.com mp3 charts for almost a month.Since forming in 2001 The Vibe Junkies have been the annual headliners for the "Farmers Day" festival ,which draws thousands of people to China Grove , NC each summer. TVJ has performed a multitude of rocking shows in North and South Carolina building a strong local following and making a name in the process.The covers on the live set list are very diverse and includes hits from bands like Lynard Skynard and Bad Company to modern day hits from groups like Maroon 5, Train,Nickelback and Weezer.The goal for TVJ has always been to create set list that would be appealing to almost anyone.The original songs can be described as dynamic and extremely radio friendly . Writing songs with strong hooks with warm soulful harmonies and infectious melodies have became a strong suit for The Vibe Junkies.Armed with an upbeat show and fantastic harmony vocals, this band is devoted to entertaining their audience. TVJ shows are filled with great songs to dance to at the show and memorable songs to sing to on the ride home. The Vibe Junky show is a fun event night after night.Targeting a spring 2006 releaseTVJ is in the process of recording their first full length Cd with producer Brad Draper at Mt. Hollywood studios. The project will be comprised of 13 original songs crafted by The Vibe Junkies.The Vibe Junkies are primed to explode onto the regional scene.THEIR SUCCESS STORY STARTS HERE...
