The Vibes

The Vibes, four young men (ages 19-20) from London Ontario, have been writing and playing live together for about a year. Singer/Bass player James Roberts met Guitarists Nick Pyette and Matt Shorten while attending London Central Secondary school in 2008 and the three started jamming regularly. James met drummer Andrew Belford while working at a movie theatre, and upon discovering his talent and passion for music, recruited him. The Vibes play original indy/rock/blues music combining the musicianship and the soul of bands such as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, with modern techniques and styles helping maintain a fresh sound. The Vibes write songs that make you feel good; they tell a story and they have soul. The Vibes recently released an independent six-song E.P. called Lovesick Hobo, named after the fan-favourite song about a homeless man searching for romance. All tracks on the album are original songs written by The Vibes.
