A chase into ourselves.
The Vincents are the vehicle through which this
search is conducted, often beckoning listeners to
explore themes of human nature and reality. The
primary songwriter and nucleus of the group,
Jordan Tanner can exude a brooding appeal on
stage and on record that feels approachable.
No stranger to performing, he has opened in the
past for such acts as The Goo Goo Dolls, Counting
Crows, meWithoutYou, and Blackpool Lights.
Teamed with Brandon Black on Bass and Stephen
“Stepho” Roberts on drums, The Vincents aim to
stand apart in the rock world with their dark yet
charming twist on traditional alternative songwriting,
as if an ode to the creative styles of Tim Burton
or Edgar Allan Poe.
Drawing from the musical talents of artists such as
Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, Queens of the
Stone Age, and Jack White, to name a few, this rock
trio founded in the deep south of the United States
brings together elements of grunge, alternative, and
psychedelia to form their sound and deliver it
with passion and desire.
During 2009, The Vincents have spent their time
diligently touring the Southeast U.S. in support of
their self-titled debut record. Now available on
iTunes, the six track EP successfully defines
Tanner and the boys as bona fide alternative
entertainers, poised for success in today's
competitive music scene.
