The VLA plays divergent post pop. Influenced by bands such as Simple Minds, the Fall, and the Stone Roses the VLA stands apart from other acts with their aggressively catchy songs. Formed in 2005 during a trip to Los Angeles by singer Jason Rabe the VLA began to record and rehearse while playing gigs at venues such as The Viper Room and Silverlake Lounge. Having recently recorded a second EP with Billy Bush (lead programmer and engineer for Garbage), the VLA are set to tour in the UK and promote the release of their newest album. So get on the train and enjoy the VLA's liberating sound which lingers long after the drunks and transients have fled the scene.
