"Music News"

"Polite and witty, the band is a fantastic four piece with an instantaneously captivating sound. With lead vocals similar to Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly., calm and mesmerising like a first kiss, the warmth in the songs come from deep down and not purely on the surface.

Single 'Falling Backwards’ is a tasty live number, with mellow notes and careful beats. 'Hello My Friend’ again, is a beguiling number for the fans to dance with. Highlight of the set, however, is 'Reunion’, a song with portions of Greenday juxtaposed with those deep, delicate vocals. The Void are a Scottish Courteneers, following closely in the steps of Biffy Clyro and Twin Atlantic.

The music of the Void is not the kind to cuddle up on the sofa with, its for seeing live with good friends; there is no doubt I’ll be going to see the Void play a thousand times over. It may only be January, but tonight the Void put on the best show of the year so far, and could well just be one of the best sounds to grace 2009." - Susan Ford

"Falling Backwards Single Review"

'Falling Backwards’ is the new single from Scottish band The Void. Capturing the band’s energetic passion, this new release is instantly catchy. With notes of Twin Atlantic and the Courteneers, it’s a classic in the making and potentially could be the band’s biggest hit.

The accented vocals give the song an edge; something completely infectious that immediately draws you into the song. It’s a captivating tune that will appeal to a large sector of fans.

Due to be released early next month, The Void will be promoting the new single with a host of live shows across Scotland. If the new single is anything to go by, these live shows are not to be missed.
