The Volantes are a Manchester rock band with over 200 shows under their belt making them experienced musicians on the live circuit.
Their music is an energetic and powerful explosion of melodic rock, fusing soul with blues, incorporating catchy guitar riffs.
The lineup consists of Michael Stewart on vocals, Pete Lowrey on Guitar, David Liptrot on Bass and Laurie Agnew on drums.
The band had previously recorded and released 3 EP’s; ‘The Volantes’ (2006), ‘The Idea of Falling (2007) and their latest release ‘Incendia’ (2009).
The Volantes have been tipped for big things this year having being crowned The Printworks Battle of the Band winners and with some high profile gigs lined up.
