Bio

Robin Kinchen began turning heads in July of 2007 when she independently released her debut album "City of Desire" at the House of Blues New Orleans, then immediately embarked on a 4-month tour across the country. Kinchen serenaded crowds in over 50 U.S. cities, delivering raw, fiery performances to packed, moody clubs and trendy hotspots from coast to coast, silencing even the socialite venue crowds of San Francisco, Chicago and NYC. Her songs unfold like confessional entries of a diary, hypnotizing listeners with her warm, sultry vocals and piercing eye contact.

Once hailed by a Phoenix journalist as being "Bettie Paige with the voice of Nancy Sinatra," Kinchen has recently turned the tables on her signature sound by taking inspiration from the legends of funk and soul, the ladies of motown, and the unmistakable music of New Orleans, to create The Voodoo Revue. This new high energy show features Kinchen's original music, packed with the grooves and intensity that keep her audience moving and yearning for more.

From a city fueled on culture, history and controversy, Robin Kinchen and The Voodoo Revue take the unmistakable vibe and flavor of New Orleans and lend it to their sound. This up-and-coming must-see show is quickly gaining momentum and is being watched by fans across the country like a newly forming gulf-storm.
