Bio
Songwriters Jennifer Saez and Corbin Supak have performed together since 1998 in Austin, Texas (as “Vidi Vitties”, two 7" on the Peek-a-Boo label and full-length CD on MotherWest, NYC). Jennifer was raised all over the world by Spanish-speaking parents, spending time in New Orleans, Saudi Arabia and Washington DC. She was studying the blues in Austin when she met Corbin, a fourth generation Austinite, and son of a school band director. He takes influence from the full range of Texas ethnicities and their music, being descended from Czech tuba players and Mexican balladeers. Now married and living in Portland since 2002, The Vulturines are their second major band. “Fowl Language” is the debut album.
