The Waiting Game

BandRockPop

Chicago's hottest new rock quintet THE WAITING GAME is taking the midwest by storm. Combining their influences which range from green day to the goo goo dolls, this band continues to please fans of all ages with their high energy brand of pop rock.

Biography

When the former members of two competing local bands join forces they are exposed to blizzards in Arizona, A-List parties in fabulous Beverly Hills locales, a temperamental van, roach infested rehearsal spaces and the theft of their equipment and a grinding schedule of grass roots touring in order to get their infectious pop/rock to the public.

Over the course of the past two years The Waiting Game have done all of the above and more.

After two trips to Los Angeles, writing with Steve Diamond, PJ Smith Phil Solem and Ben Davis and recording with Jeff Saltzman and Mark Needham the band produced its “Won’t Make It O.K.” EP.

After releasing the EP the band went on to share the stage with Better Than Ezra, Sister Hazel, Stroke 9 and The Dan Band as well as many other national and regional favorites as well as garnering airplay on the landmark alternative radio station Q-101.

With a high-energy brand of pop rock that invokes comparisons from The Goo-Goo Dolls to Green Day, The Waiting Game continues to please fans of all ages and is ready to please you.
