Bio
The Waking began at Christian Campus Fellowship at the University of West of Georgia. Brian, Jonathan, and Brennan began leading worship at CCF in the fall of 2009 and were joined by Sean and Lauren in the fall of 2010. They were leading at CCF weekly but were looking to pursue more.
The Waking was born out of a heart for worship, and we are about more than just "playing an event", but seeing people encounter the one, true God. The Waking is a band that strives to live what we proclaim on stage, off stage. Ephesians 5 says, “Look carefully then how you walk…Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." God has called us to shine for him and live a lifestyle of worship, so let us wake up and answer His call.
The Waking released their EP in April 2012 and hopes their music will be used to lead churches in times of congregational worship but also in times of personal worship, driving down the road or in a quiet space.
