Once upon a time, Lauren Danger wished upon a shiny star and fell asleep. When she awoke, there was flash of lightening and Ziggy Stardust himself tossed three groovy rock musicians through the clouds. They landed in Lauren's soup. She looked at them and said, "You will be my band." And so they became. She named them one by one, in turn, saying, "And you, Justin, will be the drummer. And you, Levi, will go forth and rock the guitar. And as for you, Jason, thou shalt play the bass bass bass bass bass (for you can never have too much bass). And I shall write the songs on my sexy keyboard and sing them for all to hear." From that day on, they were known as The Want Ads and have been plotting world domination ever since.
There is an urban legend that suggests the band met through a series of Craigslist ads (except for Jason, who appeared after someone said "BASS PLAYER" three times in the mirror). Please ignore these rumors.
