Bio
Born and raised in the musically rich area of Lubbock, Texas, War Party is the next up and coming group from the musically rich area of the South Plains. With a set to surprise, this amazing four piece band is comprised of an eclectic group of individuals. All of which are students of their craft at Texas Tech and South Plains College. Their style ranges from songs with heavy distortion to clean sophistication. Not to mention, compelling themes without words to explain the feeling.
War Party has played with a wide range of well- known artists such as the heavy metal veterans Saxon and Udo, along with Nu metal rookies such as Endo and Nothing Face. As they progressed and evolved they began to share the stage with various other acts and styles. Recently, War Party has opened for classic Latin greats “Malo” which consists of performers from the original Woodstock and family of Carlos Santana. Amongst these great artists, War Party has entertained the same crowds as Grammy Award winning guitarist Miki Free. This diverse band of individuals has been flexible and proved that they can entertain any crowd with any group of bands.
In the near future, War Party plans on spreading their unique sound while touring through their Lone Star State of Texas and throughout the Western United States. War Party is currently recording an EP to share while on the road. Keep an eye out for these guys. As rapper/actor Litefoot as commented, “they are one of the hottest, up and coming bands in Indian Country”.
