"Triple J"

This is good, honest indie. It'll get your toe tapping, and if you're not too cynical, might tug at your heart-strings too. - Vijay Kurana

The Warsaw Flowers … they sounded pretty bloody good! - Robbie Buck - Triple J Unearthed

"The Dwarf"

Reminiscent of bands such as Joy Division and The Cure, but the acoustic folk style of the band puts a unique Australian spin on the new wave sound … the success of this album is through the atmosphere contained within it. It is very special when a song can remind you of a place or a moment in time, and this album has that impressive quality. - thedwarf.com.au

"MTV"

Driven by acoustic guitars and complementary vocalists, The Warsaw Flowers showcase the placid melancholy of The Go-Betweens via thoughtful lyrical vignettes. - Scott M (guest reviewer) - MTV Kickstart

Bio

The Warsaw Flowers formed in early 2007. The Warsaw Flowers are James Stewart, Angus Stewart, Alister Douglas and Jeremy Lake.

The Warsaw Flowers find it so hard to classify their music that they've just about given up trying. If pressed, The Warsaw Flowers will mumble something about "alternative-acoustic-electric-indie-folk-pop-Americana-core-alt.country-rock-wave". The Warsaw Flowers don't really know what that means, either. The Warsaw Flowers listen to R Kelly as much as they listen to Elliott Smith. The Warsaw Flowers really just like to play songs that people like to listen to.
