Bio

The Wars of 1812 were born of Pop royalty: father Peter Pisano (famous for his 1973 talent show rendition of "From the Begining"), mother Ellen Rosewall (vocal coach to The Revoluton-bassist Brownmark, mother Lorie Maher (one time girlfriend of Bob Dylan), and Robert Anderson (weekend acquaintance of Paul McCartney). The young Wars were babysat by Nickelodeon, MTV, and Jim Henson records. After a slow but gradual weaning from Beatles movies and LP's, they fell victim to rock, blues, jazz, and folk artists. Most studied the arts formally, one did not. Time and place, however, did not prevent the culmination of our 4 wars, from 4 worlds, colliding in an folk-rock spectacle captured once on vinyl, traded secretly on tape, and now compressed conveniently to MP3.
