Feeling a bit camera shy

The Watchmen , a Dublin based band, began in the summer of 2005 with P.F. Lynch and Conor Scott writing songs, both sharing the same musical influences : Bob Dylan, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Neil Young, The Band, The Beatles. Daniel O’Brien on bass and Ronan O’Neil on Drums soon joined to complete the line up. After months of rehearsal the quartet began playing in venues all across Dublin to rave revues highlighting with gigs in The Village and The Sugar club. Before long they had built up a steady fan base. Towards the end of 2006 the band went into the studio to record their self titled debut album. Together with Martin Quinn at jam Studios in Kells Co. Meath, they recorded ten songs which are now available to buy. This year the watchmen have continued to gig around the country
