The Weatherkings are a 3 piece alt/rock band from Bo'ness scotland. We were brought together for our love of music and our drive to create music we all love to play. with influences ranging from U2 to AC/DC the blend of ambient music and rock music creates a strong and innovative sound.

Biography

The Weatherkings are a Alt/Rock band from Bo'ness. The band was origanally started by Andrew Blair and Matthew Hannah when they done a few recordings in Matthew's Attic. They then recruited the help of local drummer Joe Gray, The Weatherkings was formed. The first gig was In a Local Venue in Bo'ness, since then the band have played in venues such as Falkirk and Bo'ness Town Halls and The Barrowlands and many other Venues in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
On the 1st of October The Weatherkings brushed off stiff competition in the Bo'ness Battle of the bands to come first place winning a slot at the Real Ale Festival.
Since then the band has been writing new material with there classic cutting edge riffs and are trying to reach higher heights!
