The W.E. feat. Jaguar Wright

The Wright Experience is a five piece Philadelphia based rock band. It features veteran singer, writer, and producer Jaguar Wright, whose 2002 debut solo album was rated “number one album of the decade” by The Associated Press. Jaguar is joined in the studio and onstage with her band members Mitch Beer on bass, Stephen Honsberger on keyboards, Erik Berta on guitars, and Gary Dann on drums.

The W.E. came together in Philadelphia in 2012 at a open improvised collaborative songwriting workshop called, Sunday Music Church at The Boom Room; a Philly based recording studio which has become the band’s home for recording and creating. The W.E.’s ultimate goal is to create a familiar, yet totally fresh experience in the broad genre of rock/alternative music.

Wright has released two solo albums prior, and is very involved in mentoring and developing talent for the future.

Drummer Gary Dann and bassist Mitch Beer toured internationally playing in the band for the Grammy-award winning Digable Planets and have co-produced music one of the Planets’ founding member solo projects; Cee Knowledge and The Cosmic Funk Orchestra. Dann also is the Owner/Director of The Boom Room Studios, and is a co-producer and drummer of the folk sampling duo Fraction Theory. Beer and Honsberger are a part of the Philly based funk/jazz fusion quartet, BAM! Guitarist Erik Berta is also a member Midnight Bottle Club 3 piece rock band

In addition to writing and producing their own material as The Wright Experience, other production contributions come from Tom Spiker, Chuck Treece
