The Whiskey Pocket

The Whiskey Pocket are a rock/blues trio from Perth with influences as diverse as The Rolling Stones, Tom Waits, My Morning Jacket, Little Richard and Cream. This is a band that loves their blues dirty and their rock rocky and they are continuing to impress around town with their tight live show and old school sound. They've been showcasing their skills for a few years now and have played in a variety of places in Fremantle, including Clancy's, The Orient and regularly at X-Wray Cafe on Essex St. The Whiskey Pocket includes Darryn - whose talent on the guitar is only slightly overshadowed by his impressive vocal ability and top notch tambourine skills, Matt on the drums - who plays a mean guitar as well - and Derek on bass and backing vocals." ..
