The Winchester Local is a roadmap of American music sketched from the upper deck of the Brooklyn Indie Music stadium. Fronted by award-winning composer and dramatist Tyler Phillips, TWL plates a blend of country and folk with alternative rock and theatrical storytelling on the foundation of a rock quartet, augmented from time to time by a potpourri of orchestral instruments. The Winchester Local features Tyler Phillips on guitar and vocals, Steve Danielsson on lead guitar, Maurice Alban on drums, Andy DeRado on bass, and frequent collaborations with Brooklyn-based songwriter/vocalist Carly Howard.
