Bio

WOOLY LEMONS
A ROCKIN’ ROLL BIO

Wooly Lemon – (Wul-le/Le-mon)
1. A moldy old lemon that has been in your fridge since 1983.
2. The sweet and sour existence that we call human life.
3. A high energy, head trip rock band.

The Wooly Lemons are four brothers who have been musically united since 2005. They practice and work hard to bring the raw spirit of rock and roll to the people at every show they play.
Hailing from Southeastern Ohio and weighing in at a combined weight of 800 pounds of pure muscle, The Wooly Lemons are an original band with the occasional cover song peppered in throughout their live shows for the purpose of audience participation.
The Wooly Lemons are a high energy, head-trip rock band with positive lyrics and a real message. They are hard working serious musicians with an understanding of real life and the importance of inspiration. The Wooly Lemon’s music represents a desire of “try your hardest” attitude, and a belief of healing through music.
The Wooly Lemons absolutely love to share the stage with various other bands, who promote unity in the musical community. The Wooly Lemons stage show is high energy in its purist form. Not only are they solid and tight musically, their stage show reflects a youthful assault of “have fun and love what you do” attitude.
The Wooly Lemons have played various clubs in Southeast Ohio and through out the state. Such as; The Blue Gator, Casa Nueva, The Union Bar and Grill, Smedly’s, Jackie O’s, and not to mention all the private parties and various benefit shows.
Some of the many musical influences are; The Who, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Grand Funk Railroad, Neil Young, Bob Marley, Pearl Jam, The Doors Redhot Chili Peppers, The Black Crows Gov’t Mule, Radiohead, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, and Kings X.
