Bio

"Rock Star". It is a term used to loosely. It's used to define a young man in a polo shirt who drinks too much yager. Or to describe a girl in a trucker hat, who lifts her shirt at a party while "throwing the horns". Or even a broody, unshaven guy in baggy khakis, singing into a microphone while staring at his shoes. To be a rock star, a true rock star is a badge earned. It's the lifestyle and dedication to the true belief in Rock 'N' Roll.

Let there be a reckoning!! Let there be THE WRONG!!

The all-star lineup for The Wrong speaks for itself. Drummer, Paul Blaccard ( a staple of the 70's NY punk scene) wanted to start a band to incorporate old and new school punk and Rock 'N' Roll styles. He enlisted Cory and Nico who spent more than a decade burning up Ft. Lauderdale as guitarist and bassist for the group Death Becomes You, as well as touring internationally with Wednesday 13. When working in a studio he met local singer Jim Brogan who played in local bands Spider To The Fly and The Electric Ghetto Hippies. Jim had recently won The Roxy's $25,000 Live Band Karaoke Contest.

Some may say that destiny had drawn them together by a series of chance coincidences. Sharing in the same belief that whether a show is occupied by 3 or 300,000 people, the audience is going to get an arena level performance every time. It's the mutual belief in Rock 'N' Roll, the music and the attitude. And Florida knows it! From Orlando's Screamfest with Ace Frehley, to The Love Doctors Toy Drive at Respectables, winning over The Monterey in Ft. Lauderdale and with a future date opening for Grand Funk Railroad for the Safe Harbor Dog Rescue, The Wrong bring it everytime.

With their 6 song debut CD "Under My Skin", you can hear it's hook and honesty. From the political savy of "The State", or the self-realization of "Forever In The Dark", to the sexy swagger of "Under My Skin", you will be moved while blowing your speakers.
